Sustainability reporting

KONE publishes two reports on sustainability annually – Sustainability Statement compiled according to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and a voluntary Sustainability Supplement complementing the Statement, prepared in reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards.

The purpose of our sustainability reporting is to demonstrate transparency and accountability in managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. These reports help our stakeholders understand our impact and long-term strategy for sustainable growth. By committing specific sustainability objectives, we can identify risks and opportunities, drive innovation, and demonstrate accountability in addressing global challenges such as climate change and resource scarcity.

KONE is a committed participant of the UN Global Compact and its ten principles on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. We report on our sustainability performance annually in line with the Communication of Progress process as defined by the UN Global Compact.
